Last month we noticed that Google started testing hotel price labels in local packs on mobile devices.
Today I see these labels in different desktop and mobile phone browsers. It seems like it’s rolling out but we cannot be certain until someone (I am looking at you, Barry Schwartz) confirms with Google.
As I noted in the previous post, I think this move makes a lot of sense as most other big players in this space have had maps with price labels for years, and location is one of the 3 biggest factors many people consider (I certainly do) when choosing a hotel. The other two are review rating (UX for which Google updated last month), and price.
