Google has just rolled out a new review feature for hotel listings and is already running other interesting tests for this industry.
The latest mobile UI test shows hotel rate tags displayed in local 3-pack as well as in expended map of the local finder. When a user clicks on a tag, selected hotel’s name & rating appear at the bottom providing an option to expand hotel’s knowledge panel and see more information, read reviews, and book a stay.
Here is what the test looks like in action:
Adding this feature would probably be a logical move for Google as most big players in the hospitality industry have had similar solutions for a long time and many people, including me, prefer selecting hotels by mainly looking at just 3 factors – price, location, and review score.
What do you think? Would you like to see this feature rolled out?
